I was on hold with a company (to remain unnamed) for 1:49 yesterday. Not 1 minute and 49 seconds. It was 1 hour and 49 minutes. I know this has happened to everyone at some point. SOOOOOOO frustrating. Thank goodness for speaker phones so that I could actually go about my business. I attacked some laundry piles, answered emails and loaded the dishwasher to the jamm’n 80s tunes of the on-hold music until the battery on my phone died. Then I gave up and called back the next day.
